Winter is Over!

So I've decided that it's time for winter to be OVER!!! I'm sick of it and ready for the summer to be here. This morning I woke up to basically a blizzard. The wind was unbelievably loud and I thought it was raining, which I really don't mind...but then Chris' mom called to see if I'd gone to work yet and she told us it was snowing!!!! Needless to say I wasn't a very happy person this morning! The one good thing is that it has mostly all melted...at least in Idaho Falls, Rexburg still has some remains on the ground and I'm pretty sure that the roads are going to freeze over tonight which will make it fun to drive tomorrow morning to work.

Happy Easter!

It's hard to believe that it's Easter already!!! This year is flying by and it seems time just keeps going faster and faster. This year we were able to go to my Grandparent's house in Idaho Falls for a nice dinner. It was very fun! One of my aunts and her family were there and my uncle's parents were visiting from Oregon. The food was awesome and I'm pretty sure I over stuffed my self because my stomach hurt for awhile after that. But hey how often do you get a very nice home cooked meal while you are still in college and working?! I had to, you know, enjoy it while I could!! :)

My aunt pulled out an old photo album from when she and my other aunt and my mom were growing up which was pretty fun because we were able to see my mom when she was in high school. It was funny to see the types of clothes they wore back then and there were also pictures of my grandparents when they were actually young!! Man how times have changed! My grandpa showed us a truck that he had bought brand new for only $9000. How I wish we could buy a nice new car or truck for only that much! Anyways it was a very nice and relaxing Easter and can't wait for next year when we'll have our baby and be able to do an Easter Egg Hunt for him or her!!!

A Little About Us

Chris and I have been married for just over a year and a half now and are expecting our first child in August!!! We are trying to finish up school and hope to be finished by the end of this year and hopefully get a good job somewhere where we'll be able to start the rest of our lives. I'm majoring in Business Management with a Supply Chain emphasis and Chris is going into Construction Management. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with my degree...what I really want to do is be a stay at home mom! Right now Chris is doing residential construction but is thinking about going into commercial construction partly because of the stability aspect of it.
