Trick or Treat!!

Tonight we went Trunk or Treating at our church parking lot. The first few pictures were taken before we left. It was pretty fun, although Parker slept through the whole thing! Afterwards we went to the movie theater here in town and did a little bowling and trick or treating at the booths they had set up. We went with our friends Sydney and Jon and their little boy, Carson who was Kung Fu Panda for Halloween!!

He was starting to get a little fussy...

Oops, what happened here?

There we go, much better!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween Festivities!

Today I took Parker to the Halloween party at Melaleuca and walked through the building and collected candy. It's one of the most celebrated holidays of the year because it's the CEO's favorite holiday. All the departments decorated and dressed up. It was pretty fun and was glad to be able to take Parker. He enjoyed looking around at all the decorations and people around him. He fit into his costume a little better, which means he is growing!!! Once I gave him the Trick or Treat bag he wouldn't let go! Tomorrow we are going to our Trunk or Treat at church which will be fun. Here are some pictures of Parker before we left for the party...Enjoy!!!

Hi Mom!! Are you almost done?
Let's see...what am I supposed to do with this thing?!

Brrrr....I'm Cold!

Tonight after Parker's bath, we took him and put him on the changing table to put his diaper on. Well after I was done putting it on, this is what he looked like. He had a firm grasp of the towl around his little hands and wouldn't let go because he was cold! It was so cute and I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Needless to say, he wasn't all that happy that we took the towl off him to get him dressed!!

Kiddo tagged!!

Parker got kiddo tagged by our friend Sydni Yoshioka. Now I get to write 5 things I love about Parker!!

1. I love how calm and content he always seems to be. I couldn't have asked for a better baby. He is always happy and smiling and just goes along with whatever is going on around him.

2. I love how he kicks his little legs and never stops! Even when he is crying he still has to kick them as hard as he can as if they will help move him to a new location.

3. I love his cute little whimper cry, before it becomes a full out wailing (which doesn't happen all that often!). When he whimpers, it's not even like he is really crying it's like his way of saying, "Um, hello? I'm still here remember? Can you come get me now??!"

4. I love his adorable little smile and his cute dimple on his left cheek.

5. I love watching him play with his little toys, or look at himself in the mirror, etc. He has such a great time and is very entertaining.

I'm now kiddo tagging: Hilary Craner, Katie Rammell, and Laura Smith.

Meme...

My sister has tagged me with a Meme. I'm not really sure what it stands for, but I'm supposed to post the fourth picture from the fourth folder in My Pictures file.

So it looks like the picture is part of the school's construction from last year I think. Chris took it for some reason, I'm not really sure why.

Anyways, I now tag Heather, Sydney and Katie. Go and post the fourth picture in your fourth folder in your pictures file. Have fun!!!

2 Months Old

Today Parker turned 2 months old. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is definitely smiling a lot more and is also staying awake a lot more through the day. He likes to play with his hands and thinks they are fun to suck on. His favorite toy right now is the floor gym. He likes to look at himself in the little mirror and make everything swing back and forth. Here are just a few pictures from his "photo shoot"! :)

I'm going to get you!!

Floor Gym

So today we went and bought Parker a floor gym so he can have something to look at when he is laying on his back. Turns out he just loves it!! He's been just staring at the three toys for at least 15 minutes and still going strong. There is a little mirror hanging in the middle and a fish with a little rattle in the middle of him hanging on one side and the other side is a little fish that plays music. Then there is a ball hanging down towards his feet that has a little rattle ball inside it, but he's still a little too short to reach that yet. He is kicking his legs and has even touched the toys and made them swing, it's very cute and I'm so glad he likes it so much. It can transform into something to allow for tummy time so he can have something to look at and then when he starts crawling it turns into a little tunnel that he can crawl through. Here is a video of him playing with his new toy!!!

Look Alikes

Basically everyone that has seen Parker in person or just pictures of him say that he is a "mini me" so I just thought that I would post a couple baby pictures of me so you can compare. I do sort of see it now that I look at these pictures...he definitely has my nose and I'm thinking he has my eyes too. But I'll let you decide. The first one is obviously my newborn picture and the other one of me is when I was 8 months old.

Grrr....

Last week we went and bought Parker his Halloween costume. We found the cutest little tiger costume at Walmart. Well I didn't want to take pictures of him in it too early, so I at least waited until it was October to post them. We originally bought a newborn size, but it fit him just perfect and didn't have much room to grow into it, so we went back last night to exchange it for a 0-3 month size, which happens to be a little big still. Here are a few pictures of him trying it on. There is a tail attached to the back of it too. Hopefully by Halloween he will have grown into it!

Cooing

Here is yet another video of Parker. I have decided that videos are a fun way for our family who is far away to be able to see how Parker is changing and growing. In this video, he was "laughing" I guess you could say and making some other cute cooing noises...It's so nice that he is such a content and happy baby, it makes our lives a little easier and it's a lot of fun when he is in a good mood!

Bath Time

For my baby shower at work, someone gave me this really cute bath robe. So we wanted to try it out. Parker is liking his baths a lot more than he did at the very beginning, which is nice. Isn't it just adorable??!!

His expression just says it all...

He loves his daddy!
