Mommy's Little "Helper"

I was doing the dishes this morning and I was throwing something away and I literally turn back around 2 SECONDS later and this is where Parker was....

Parker LOVES to "help" me when I do the dishes and is sure he doesn't miss the opportunity.

Labor Day

I wish I could say that yesterday was a nice relaxing Labor Day holiday, but since we are moving in just 13 DAYS we needed to start moving some of our bigger furniture that we don't need into our storage unit. That took up the morning and then we went down to Idaho Falls with Chris' parents and youngest brother to the Chuckar's baseball game. That was pretty fun...it's been a LONG time since either of us have been to a baseball game and it was also Parker's 1st time. He did really well and just played with toys and the bleachers, and even tried a few times to get this couple's pop and drinks that were sitting next to us!! We left at the top of the 5th inning because Parker was starting to get fussy and we needed to get home and try to do some more packing (which by the way didn't happen!). We drove around for about an hour or so looking for cars and then headed home and had a nice dinner.

Florida Bound

On Monday, September 21 we are FINALLY moving....to FLORIDA! It will only be for a couple months, but still it will be a nice change of pace. Chris' company has a house that needs to be built in Gainesville, Florida so we are going with another family and a couple of other employees. I'm excited, it's only a little less than 2 hours North of Orlando, which means DISNEYLAND! And is only about 1 1/2 hours either direction of the BEACH!! I'm just hoping that since we are heading over during hurricane season that we don't actually have to experience one.

Chris will actually be heading over first and then Parker and I will fly out there on October 4th because I am babysitting for my aunt and uncle while they are on a trip for work. This will definitely make for an interesting flight...an active, walking 13-month old...all by MYSELF! Oh well, anything is better than a 35-hour drive :)
