Carving Pumpkins - October 28, 2013

Sorry about the quality of these pictures...my camera had died so we used our phones!

Tyler wanted to try and carve his himself...he didn't last too long!
The boy's don't like touching the slimy stuff, so we have to do that!
 All done!!!
All ready for Halloween!!

It's A.....

GIRL!!!!!

We found out that this little peanut is a girl on October 17, 2013!! We are beyond thrilled and she is looking healthy and strong! I had to ask the ultrasound tech twice if it was really a girl, I was just in so much shock and wanted a girl so bad that I was having a hard time believing it!!
Let the shopping begin!!!

Pumpkin Patch - October 19, 2013

We found this really awesome pumpkin patch down in Morgan Hill, which is about 30 minutes south of us. It's called Uesugi Farms and it was beautiful and huge with lots to do!

The Entrance...
Biggest pile of pumpkins I've ever seen!!
 Pumpkin Patch
There were several rides there, we let the boys each pick 2 to ride on...luckily they both picked the same 2!
Yes, snow cones in the middle of October!!! I think it was in the low 80's or something that day...not your typical Pumpkin Patch experience!!
Parker tried to help dad with the wheelbarrow, but decided it was too heavy and just let go without so much as a warning, it may have tipped some when that happened!!
The other ride they picked! It went all around the pumpkin patch and they really did have fun on it, despite the picture!
The pumpkins were a great price, we all had fun, and I think we will definitely be going back!!!!

Discovery Children's Museum - September 2, 2013

Well saying that I'm more than a little behind is an understatement!! I know I have said this before but I PROMISE to do better with the blog this year!!! I'm going to try and get this thing up to date as best I can over the next couple days :)

So, to start off...

Back in September we took the boys to the Children's Museum in San Jose. They LOVED it!! It was a little smaller than other ones we have been to but it was fun just the same.

There was a fire truck and an ambulance to play on...
This water area was by far one of their favorites, they could have played here all day!! It's not pictured here but there was this cool blower tube thing that you put a ball into and it would shoot up into the ceiling and land in this big water funnel where the ball would then spiral back down the bottom, they were pretty amazed!
This was in the Curious George Exhibit...It was a construction site.
Another of of their favorite areas!!
Watching the bubbles fall from the ceiling...
There was also a huge area with play kitchens and restaurants, I didn't get any pictures of those but they seemed to like that area too. We will definitely have to go back there!!!
