Tyler

I haven't really been taking a lot of pictures of Tyler so I thought I'd take a couple last night...He's getting so big!

My favorite out of the ones we took

Painting

For Parker's birthday, my mom got him some bath paints that are also supposed to be soap (it washes right off and doesn't stain). It's pretty cool and Parker really likes to play with it. Last night he created a masterpiece!

Yes, the water is green, it's another one of Parker's favorite things...color tablets for the bath!
Chris was having fun painting Parker too!
This was the only one where he was actually looking at the camera...he always kept looking at Chris!

Stuck in a Box

We have taken on the HUGE task of cleaning out our storage unit and throwing stuff away that we don't want anymore, or donating it and putting what we are keeping in plastic bins. Well, Parker found one of the empty boxes and was trying to get inside....but he may have gotten a little stuck!

Parker's New Bed

We finally got Parker's new bed out of storage (my grandparent's gave us one of the twin beds that they had when they moved because they didn't have room for it in their new house) because Tyler was ready for the crib. For now we just put the box spring and mattress on the floor until he is used to it and doesn't fall out (he is a very restless sleeper!). And also for now we just bought some cheap sheets until I figure out what exactly I want to get for him. He seems to enjoy it!

2-Months

I simply can't believe that we have had darling little Tyler for 2 months already! Where has the time gone? He is growing up so fast and is smiling a ton more! He recognizes both his mom and dad as well as his older brother. Even though he gets things thrown at him (Parker is getting a little better about this), Tyler still smiles at Parker and enjoys watching him closely. He has started sleeping for longer periods during the night, on average about 6-7 hours at a time!! Makes for a happier mom! His swing is probably his all-time favorite and will take an awesome 3, sometimes 4 hour nap in the morning.

I took him to the doctor yesterday for his check-up and shots. I felt so bad for him because he was so smiley, chatty and cooing up a storm to the nurses as they were giving him his oral immunization and then they had to go and poke him 3 times! Needless to say he was not a happy camper. Here are his stats:

Weight: 12 lbs 2 oz (72%)
Height: 23 1/2 inches (62%)
Head Circ.: 16 inches (67%)

Okay, now I have been having fun comparing his stats with Parker's to see how much faster he is growing...at Parker's 2 month checkup his stats were as follows: Weight- 9 lbs 13 oz (at his 4 month checkup he weighed 12 lbs 8 oz!!!), Height- 23 inches, Head Circ.- 15.5 inches. So basically, Tyler already has Parker beat as far as the weight goes!

Here are a few pictures of the little guy:

"HAT!!"

Can you guess what Parker is wearing on his head?
If you guessed the bucket from his little potty chair, then you would be CORRECT! (Don't worry, he hasn't used it yet!)

Seriously??

This is what, I'm sure, Parker is thinking in this picture!! We woke Parker up at 5:30 am to leave my parent's house by 6 and he wasn't quite ready to get up yet.

Pacific Science Center

On Labor Day we went to the Pacific Science Center with my family. It was so fun and I think Parker really had fun.

Taking a ride on the Monorail
He loves playing in the water, but he didn't play with the water as much as I thought he probably would.

The music room...
This little car and the little plane (pictured below) were probably his most favorite to play on.
He found a new hat!
Afterwards we all went to The Spaghetti Factory for dinner to celebrate my step-dad's birthday. It was delicious!

So Sweet!

Parker and my brother Connor had a blast playing together. At one point I looked over and saw this...

Drew Ethington's Baby Blessing

September 5 was my nephew's baby blessing in Kent, Washington. We were lucky enough to be able to attend. It was a very nice blessing and I'm so glad we were able to be there. We went over to Mike and Bri's house after church for a BBQ lunch. We also took some pictures at their house!
Proud Momma!
Our entire family!!
(Kelsey may not have been there, so I had to do some adjusting! Turned out pretty good I'd say!)

More Birthday!!

My parent's had a few little gifts for Parker's birthday, so we once again got to open more presents!!

Cousins!!!

We went to Seattle over Labor Day weekend to visit my family and to see my sister's new little baby. Tyler is just a month older than baby Drew so it was fun to lay them next to each other.

1-Month Photo Shoot

While we were in Oregon my step-mom took a bunch of pictures of Tyler. They turned out so cute!! Here are a few of my favorites...
