Beach Trip #1 - April 24, 2014

This week was spring break for Parker and I really wanted to do something fun and out of the ordinary from our normal just going to the park. A friend of ours planned a beach trip with other friends in our park group. It was so much fun, and quite the experience going without our husbands!! We went to Sea Bright Beach in Santa Cruz and it was a really nice beach, and a lot closer to the car than going to the boardwalk. We got there fairly early in the morning so it wasn't packed at all and then we just let the kids at it! Oh and did I mention that this was also Kailey's first beach trip??!  Yep, she was just 7 weeks old and slept basically the whole time! I failed though and didn't get a picture...oh well...NEXT TIME!!

 Even though it wasn't super warm out still, the kids still braved the water and had a blast!

 When we were ready to go home, a few of us stopped off ta Marianne's Ice Cream for a treat. It was really good and a fun way to end the day!

First Day at Church - April 13, 2014

Today Kailey went to church for the first time!! Here she is in her first pretty little dress!

Easter 2014

This was Kailey's FIRST Easter! Ever since we started having kids I would always see the adorable Easter dresses for the little girls and just dream of someday having a girl of my own to be able to dress up...that day is finally here!!! She may have a couple different dresses that I originally had picked out for Easter, only because I would find one, buy it and then later find one that was even more perfect!! This was the third and final pick!

You've Had a Birthday! - April 12, 2014

Chris' birthday was fairly low key this year. We celebrated it on Saturday and Sunday...twice the birthday fun! I got our friend's from church to watch the boys so Chris and I could go out to dinner. We went to Claim Jumper and man was it delicious! I had only been there once a long time ago back in Washington and Chris had never heard of it before so it was a perfect change in our usual restaurant line up of Applebees, Chili's or Red Robin. And then we went to the mall and walked around to look for some clothes or something for Chris...we came out of there with a new cute swim suite for Kailey...and nothing for Chris! Oh well, it was really nice to have a nice meal with out the boys!! On Sunday we did cake and presents with the family, the boys were really excited about this and were asking us ALL day, before, during and after church when it was time for the ice cream cake!

 This picture cracks me up because it totally shows how truly excited they are to eat that cake!

 It has now come to the point where I can't bring the boys with me anytime presents are involved because they really CAN NOT keep a secret!! Tyler tried to tell Chris at least once what we got him, he succeeded at least one time, even with me telling him to not say anything! Oh well, Chris still acted surprised to receive a new electric razor!

Golden Gate Bridge - April 6, 2014

Since we had been living here for over a year and had still NEVER been up to San Francisco we decided to take a drive up there and look around. We thought it would be fun to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge so we could check that off our bucket list. It's pretty impressive and the views are amazing!

 Once we got across we drove up to the lookout points...pretty cool! 

Grandpa Wiser Comes for a Visit!! - April 6, 2014

My dad had to come into town for some business stuff and he came to see us for a few hours!! It was great to see him for a while and the boys had a blast!!

Golden Gate Bridge - April 6, 2014

After General Conference we decided to take a drive up to San Francisco and just see what was up there. Even though we have lived here for over a year we still hadn't had a chance to go up there! We drove through the city and then drove across the Golden Gate Bridge. It's simply incredible how big that bridge is!! The view was also pretty amazing!

1 Month Old - April 5, 2014

Wow, a month old already?! I have a feeling time is just going to fly by...not sure how I feel about that! She is so far my best sleeper, especially at this age, at anywhere from 4-7 hours each night! Her neck muscles are getting stronger each and every day and she is getting better at holding her head up by herself, although she was doing really pretty well with that since the day she was born! She has been smiling a lot at all of us, and it's just so cute. And she is also a champ when it comes to eating! She loves bath time, so far as long as the water isn't too cold!

Weight: 9 lbs - 50%

Length: 20 1/2 inches - 25%

Head: 14 1/2 inches - 75%

 Her brothers LOVE trying to play with her and getting her to smile! They are doing so well with her and are really big helpers when I need them to be. It's really cute to watch them. Parker will start rocking her if she is getting fussy and both of them will try to put her binky in her mouth too. 

 She is lucky to call these two her brothers, as crazy as they may be sometimes!

Spring Sing - March 20, 2014

Parker's whole kindergarten class had their first little concert. They all sang several songs about Spring, all of which I have never heard before! They were all so cute and Parker did a great job!!
