2nd Anniversary!
Well this is a little late, but this past Tuesday (June 24) Chris and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. It's hard to believe that we've been married for 2 years already, it has flown by so fast! It has been a great couple of years. Since it was in the middle of the week we were sort of limited as to what we could do since I had to go to school and work and Chris had to work, but we had fun. We went out to dinner at this new Italian restaurant here in Rexburg called Amicis. It was cool because we were literally the only customers the whole time we were there!! The food was actually pretty good too, I think I still like the breadsticks better at Olive Garden though, but the Chicken Alfredo is a lot better as left overs at Amicis than at Olive Garden...there wasn't ANY grease!!! lol It was also cool because the waiter let me try another flavor of lemonade free of charge and Chris got to try a piece of pizza that they are thinking of offering free of charge too, they just kept bringing things out for us to try it seemed like! Chris got me a beautiful rose and a bag of Ghiradelli chocolates which are very yummy! We agreed not to get each other gifts this year because we thought it would be fun to spend a night in a theme room, since we've never done that before. We actually decided to do that this weekend and it was awesome! The room was the lagoon type room with trees and flowers everywhere and they had this cool jetted tub that was fairly big and had green lights and everything. We also went out to dinner at Applebees that is right there next to the hotel, which was essentially free since I had a gift card and the hotel gives you a 10% thing, which was nice. It was a very relaxing weekend...Now we get to think about what we are going to do for our 3rd anniversary, which again we will be limited because we will have a 10-month old!!

Rexburg Air Show
We went to the Air Show today at the Rexburg Airport with Chris' family. We watched it from the park right across the street. Here are a few videos I took from the Air Show today. It was pretty fun and nice to be outside for awhile.

Windy City
Okay so seriously Rexburg needs to get rid of the wind!!! Last Friday the wind was really really strong and I had to walk against it, pregnant, uphill to my car with a computer in one hand and a backpack, purse and coat in the other. There were literally times when I wasn't going ANYWHERE! The wind kept pushing me backwards which made it longer and harder to get to my car. By the time I reached my car I just had to sit there for a minute or two to catch my breath, it was insane!
Well today it has been really windy again and I had to do the same thing, only this time instead of pushing me backwards it was pushing me sideways!! This wouldn't be so bad if I wan't pregnant because I might actually be able to breath, while walking uphill. OH well I guess that's just part of the territory.

It's finally happened...
Well, little old Rexburg, Idaho has finally reached over $4.00 for gas!!! The highest so far that I have seen has been $4.04 and I can't believe it. Now I realize that just about everywhere else in the country has probably been over $4.00 for awhile, but it's so sad that we have to pay that much. Now, when it hit's $5.00 is when I will really start crying!! Probably not, but still, that's pretty bad.
