Trick or Treating!

Today I took the boys to Melaleuca with my Sister-in-law and her little boy to go trick or treating to all the departments. It was pretty fun and it took Parker a little bit to get used to the whole idea, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Parker was a cute fireman...the hat is by far his favorite thing EVER!!
Tyler got to wear his brother's tiger costume this year, and he fits it WAY better than Parker did. This was by far my favorite picture out of all of the ones I took...definitely frame worthing I think!
This one's pretty cute too!
This one of the boys turned out pretty cute too, Parker is actually looking at the camera and smiling!
Parker is following the "Candy Land Path"
This car was at the entrance to the "Toy Story" department. Once he saw it he dropped his pumpkin and got inside! We saw my uncle there and he told us just to leave him there and let him play for an hour or so and then come back for him! Let me just say I was considering it...just a little!
After we went to Melaleuca we decided to hit up the "Trick or Treat Street" where a bunch of business set up booths to trick or treat at. It was alright and lets just say, we probably won't do that again! It took us a little longer than 2 1/2 hours to go through the whole thing, and 45 minutes-1 hour of that was standing in a massive line to even get to the booths!! It was crazy, but the boys were all really good considering. Parker even got really good at getting extra candy from people! lol His cuteness really paid off!!

The weather was beautiful when we first got there (it started to get colder the longer we were there) and Tyler got some good naps in.
My cute little nephew, Kaydon. He did this the entire time, pretty much!
Parker "cheesin" it while we were waiting in the HUGE line!
I loved this picture of Parker and me, however I had to cut Tyler out because his hood completely covered his face!
This is a better one...we missed having Chris with us and wish he was here :(
Parker chillin' on the little couches waiting for the line to move

Tyler

I found this incredibly cute hat at Walmart and had to take a picture of Tyler wearing it!

Pumpkin Painting

Since Chris is gone, we decided to just stick with painting our pumpkin. Parker LOVED painting and is so proud of his pumpkin. I bought washable paints, but I still kept him out of his clothes to minimize the mess.

U-Pick Red Barn

I took the boys to a U-Pick Pumpkin Patch today in Idaho Falls. Even though we have been to two different small pumpkin patches this month, we still needed to get a pumpkin. I had heard about this place and wanted to take Parker, and I'm so glad I did, it was such a cute little place and he LOVED the little train that they had. My sister-in-law and her little boy came with us also, which was fun. Thanks guys for coming with us!!!
The grounds
This was the cutest picture of Parker actually holding a pumpkin, however I'm bummed that it's a little on the blurry side!
Tyler's First Pumpkin Patch experience
I think Parker may have been more interested in this little wagon than he was about the actual pumpkins!
I attempted to get Parker to hold Tyler in the wagon, and it worked for like 2 seconds and then he let Tyler go...turns out he is already a tough little guy and it didn't phase him one bit that his head hit the side of the wagon! lol (It wasn't a very hard hit, but still!)
Parker enjoyed pulling the wagon with his cousin, Kaydon.
Riding the little train!
Parker liked picking up this pumpkin and then dropping it...
They had a little hay maze for the kids too, which Parker seemed to enjoy a little
Parker saw this car inside the little red barn and really wanted to play with it!

Jackson Hole, WY

This past weekend we went with Chris' family up to Jackson Hole. It was pretty fun and I had never been up there before. Chris' dad rented a big van so we could all go. We were only missing Chris' brother who is on his mission and his sister and family who are in Arizona. We missed you guys :( The weather was perfect, a little cold at times, but sunny and beautiful. In the town square there was a make-shift pumpkin patch and Parker had a field day...he wanted one really bad!
He also had fun playing with the antler arches!
And climbing on the fence...
Family Picture at the famous antler arch
There were these cool statues that of course Parker wanted to climb on!
Such a beautiful scene!
Two of my favorite boys!!
After our drive up to Jackson Chris' parents took us all out to Applebee's for dinner. It was delicious!! It's too bad we couldn't have stayed in Jackson longer, but it was fun just the same!

3 Months!

Tyler is 3 months old today! I just can't believe it. He is growing up so fast already, it makes me a little sad. Some of the things he is currently doing include smiling a TON more, loves playing with his floor gym on the floor, loves watching his crazy older brother, has established a more regular sleeping pattern that is pretty much in sync with Parker's (goes to bed around 8 pm and will usually sleep until anywhere from 1:30 & 3:30 am and then gets up for the day around 6:30 or 7 am. Then he is ready for a LONG morning nap in his swing that lasts anywhere from 3-5 hours!! Now, while this may sound crazy, keep in mind that it's basically his only nap for the day. He will take little cat-naps the rest of the day that never last more than 20 minutes or so!).

He is a very good eater and is making more and more noises and squeals and coos. He isn't quite as fussy as he was in the first month or two, but he can have his moments. Bath times are a favorite of his and he is getting really good at grabbing things that hang in front of him. We love having him in our family and are cherishing every moment! Here are some of the pictures I took today.

Wild Adventure Corn Maze

This past weekend we took Parker to this fun corn maze in Shelley, ID. It's this huge maze that has 4 separate mazes all put together. Each one was a different length, making it easier for the little kids. In 3 of the mazes there are checkpoints that you can check off on your card to get discounts at various businesses around Idaho Falls. Also, in one of the mazes there is a game, FSI: Farm Scene Investigation, that is basically like clue. You have to punch out the location, weapon and animal and whatever is left is the answer. The clues are scattered throughout the maze in different locations than the main checkpoints. We only found one, but it was still fun to let Parker run through the maze. He had a blast. Afterwards Chris took Parker on a little train ride. He was so tired afterwards and the weather was awesome! We had a great time and look forward to taking the kids to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to carve!

Looking at the pumpkins
He has been doing this with his hands lately, Chris will do it sometimes and so Parker is trying to be like his dad!
He hasn't been a big fan of smiling at the camera lately, his expressions makes me laugh though...
Warming up the maze concept with a mini hay maze!
The only picture of me...not one of my favorites, but it will do!
He's FREE!!
Tyler got a nice nap in while riding in the stroller!
I tried to get a cute picture of Parker on the haybales, turns out it's a lot harder than I thought at this age!
This was the closest I got to a smile! lol
Leaving for their train ride!
Tyler was pretty happy when he woke up!
