***KEEP SCROLLING!!! There are a TON of new posts/pictures, so just keep going!***

Bassinet

My mom bought us a really cute bassinet for Tyler, since we didn't have one and were using our pack & play. It came the other day and we love it!
It has baskets underneath
It also came with Green & Pink inter-changeable bows and ribbon depending on the gender of the baby.
I'm pretty sure Tyler loves it too!
Thanks MOM!!!

Idaho Falls Air Show

This past Saturday and Sunday Idaho Falls hosted an air show, complete with a performance by the Blue Angels. It was amazing!! We watched it on Saturday at Freeman Park, and had a pretty good view of everything. Parker really enjoyed seeing the planes, except for the times when the Blue Angels would fly directly over our head and were extremely LOUD! He would get pretty scared during those times.

We bought Parker a little "Cars" lawn chair to sit in and he loved it!
The Blue Angels were amazing! I remember watching them practice back in Washington and have always been amazed at what they can do!

Grandparent's 50th Anniversary

On Saturday, July 24 we celebrated my Grandparent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Their real anniversary is June 24, however since they are serving a mission in Salt Lake we weren't able to celebrate it until this past weekend. They were able to come up for the weekend for my cousin's homecoming. We went to Freeman Park in Idaho Falls and had a nice picnic with KFC and cake and watched the air show. It was a nice relaxing day spent with family!!
They got their 1st digital camera, as well as a nice DVD of pictures from their wedding until now that was put to music. They loved it!

Comfy Bed

Parker sometimes comes into our room around 5 or 6 in the morning and will come lay with us for awhile and will most times go back to sleep until it's time to get up. Both he and now Tyler seem to sleep very well in OUR bed!! Parker is very good at completely taking it over as well...

Tyler's Baby Blessing

We blessed Tyler on Saturday, July 17 at 10 am so that my family could be here for it since they weren't able to be here for Parker's blessing. Chris did a great job and it turned out to be a very special day!

Bumbo

We got a Bumbo from my mom and Parker decided to put it to good use...

Mom's Birthday

It just happened to also be my mom's birthday while she was here. We all went out to dinner at Johnny Carinos and then did cake and presents at my aunt's house afterwards. It was fun and nice to be able to celebrate with her this year.
(My aunt didn't have the number 9, so we improvised and used candles that added up to the number 9!!)
Happy Birthday Mom!!

Brothers

This was the first time that Parker really showed any interest in Tyler...
Parker still isn't too sure about Tyler, however he has started trying to help with some things. He wanted to help feed Tyler his bottle, and this was also the first time that he was actually willing to hold him....SO cute!!

Tyler Johnathan Bell

...has ARRIVED!!!! Tyler was born yesterday, July 12, 2010 at 2:31 pm at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long.

We went to the hospital at 7:30 am to be induced. The doctor broke my water around 7:40 am and then we waited for awhile. I got my epidural around 11 am, give or take a few minutes and I was soon pain free! I just love those things and can't imagine giving birth without one. I wasn't progressing very fast, at least until around 1:45. The nurses checked me to see how I was doing and I was dilated to a 6 (I was at a 4 since around 8:30 or 9) and then about 10 minutes later the nurses checked me again and I was at a 9. Chris called my mom to let her know that it was just about time and a couple minutes later I was at a 10 and ready to get this baby out!! I pushed about 4 times and out he came, it was amazing how fast it all went. Of course I wasn't complaining and was excited to see the little guy! So all in all, I was in labor I guess for only about 7 hours, so it will be interesting to see how fast the next ones come. Parker isn't too sure about this whole thing yet, and I'm not sure he really understands quite what is going on. He does point to him and say "baby", but that's about it, so it will be fun and interesting to see how it goes once we get home.

Welcome to the world and to our family Tyler!!

40 Weeks

This picture was taken the night before we left for the hospital at exactly 40 weeks pregnant!

4th of July Celebrations

Since 4th of July fell on a Sunday this year, South Eastern Idaho did their celebrations on the 3rd. We usually go to the parade in Idaho Falls, but this year we decided to skip it so Parker could at least have 1 nap before we headed down there. For lunch we went to my aunt and uncle's house for a BBQ, which was DELICIOUS! Parker and I then hung out at my other aunt and uncle's house for the rest of the evening while Chris went shooting with my uncle and his family that was visiting. As far as I know he really enjoyed it! Parker got to play with his 2nd cousins, Boyd & Brinley while they were gone. Parker had fun as well, especially since Boyd is only 8 months younger than him. And then it was time for the fireworks! We headed over to our usual spot and set up camp and waited for the show to begin.
My uncle, Chris, Parker and Boyd had fun passing the football back and forth before the show began.
My aunt made my grandpa's yummy stove-popped popcorn since my grandparents are on their mission this year (and it's sort of a tradition to take it with us)...it was GOOD!
The fireworks were amazing again this year and I'm glad we were able to go and have a nice day with family.
Happy 4th of July!!!!
