We went to San Antonio for the day a couple weekends ago and we found this awesome park and decided to take the kids. There were trees everywhere which helped to keep it cool, but it was still pretty warm and the boys didn't really feel like playing on the toys for very long. We have noticed that pretty much all of the parks around here have sand, which is awesome since they don't throw the sand and get it everywhere (*enter sarcasm*)!! This park though had a good sized sandbox that the boys had fun in because it was shaded. When it was time to go there was a water spicket specifically to wash sand off, so we were able to wash our feet off which felt really good in the hot sun!
